Yep, that time of the year. Finally, the future discussion. I choose non-med. But it'll surprize you how bad I wanted to choose the complete opposite-medical. You wanna why? It’s because I can picture it. Non-med, not so much. I mean where? In which movie have you seen a software engineer saving the day or being a world class spy? But I bet you've seen some badass doctors. And because of that and my really vivid imagination, I thought being a doctor was better for me. But of course, with many logical and reasonable explanations by my parents, I got around. But my career choices are not the point of this, its picturing.
The whole determination thing starts with speculation and prediction of what my life would be. If you can't picture it, what'll be the fuel for you to move ahead right? To imagine what your life would be after your complete college and what you will be capable to do is the whole point of getting education, right? It's like playing an adult imagination game. Instead of cooking of fake fire and racing around on your sofa and winning each time, you're thinking about where your kitchen would be and what it would look like or about what car you'll have and how many. The simple view of the future helps us inspire and enhance our skill set in order to be ready for the future we imagined.
And that’s so important. More than one can know.
Afterall, the picture of the future is the biggest meal our determination can ever have.
